We are delighted to announce that with immediate effect, Bartoline Limited has been acquired by the Enact II investment fund, managed by Endless LLP. Managing Director, Simon Barton has retired from the business after 27 years’ service and passes the custodianship of Bartoline onto the new owners, securing the business for future growth.
Mark Tingay, Sales Director, joins the new senior management team. Mark will also retire fully from the business at the end of December, as part of his planned retirement, following 45 years’ service.
The business has appointed Paul Robbins as the new Managing Director. Paul has considerable experience at senior level in the building products, paint and coatings sector. At AkzoNobel, he held senior international sales and marketing positions, and was Managing Director, Northern Europe.
Stuart Ockleton, Operations Director is remaining with the business and will join the new senior management team.
Endless LLP & Enact have significant experience in the UK building products sector with previous ownership of Crown Paints and James Briggs Limited. The purchase brings the opportunity for Bartoline Limited to continue its growth journey, as the UK’s leading supplier of decorative sundries.
Keith Chapman will join the board as Non-Executive Chairman. Keith is an experienced, commercially focussed chair who will work with the management team to guide and support our future success.
