Health And Safety Policy

Bartoline believes it has an important duty to ensure good Health and Safety performance in all its business operations and to provide the necessary organisation, commitment to
maintain safe and healthy (including injury and ill health) working conditions, equipment
and safe systems of work. The company will provide such information, training and supervision as necessary in order to meet this commitment.

These aims will be achieved through:

• Ensuring that the company undertakes to comply with all applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to which we subscribe in relation to the health and safety hazards.
•  Ensuring so far as reasonably practicable that the health and safety including injury
   and ill health of persons other than employees are not put at risk by the   company’s activities.
•  Ensuring that the company’s activities do not intentionally degrade the environment and to continually strive to increase the company’s product range with products that have less detrimental effects on the environment.
•  Measuring health and safety performance regularly by means of an auditing and  inspection programme to ensure that policy and practices are effective. 
•  Ensuring a commitment to continual improvement in its health and safety standards and will do this by documenting Health and Safety objectives and improvement programmes. 
•  Co-operation from all managers and employees to maintain a safe and healthy  workplace by:

                  o Reporting incidents that may or have led to injury or damage.
                  o Complying with the organisations written instructions.
                  o Not interfering with, or misusing anything provided in the interest of 
                     health and safety. 

•  Ensuring that all employees are consulted when any changes to work activities   have health, safety or welfare implications.
